Sneaky Lunch

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how “Sneaky Lunch” (the “App”) handles information about its users.

Information saved in your browser

When you clear all four periods, the App saves your best total score in your browser (localStorage, under the key hayaben-best). It is used only to show your best score on the title screen and is never sent to a server. If you clear your browser's site data, your best score is deleted too.

If you pick a language on the language selection page or in the language suggestion at the top of the screen, the App saves that language (lang) and uses it to take you to that language the next time you open the top page. If you close the language suggestion, the App saves that you closed it (lang-suggest-closed) so it doesn't show again. Both names are shared by nacn.app sites.

Your progress in the middle of a game (which period you're in, your points so far) is not saved. Reloading the page takes you back to the title screen. In addition, your choice in “Cookie consent” below is saved in a cookie.

Content loaded from outside services

The App uses fonts from Google Fonts. When the fonts load, your browser connects to Google's servers.

Advertising

The App uses Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service.

For more information, see how Google uses cookies in advertising.

Analytics

To understand how the App is used and improve it, the App uses Google Analytics, an analytics tool provided by Google. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect traffic data. This data is collected anonymously and does not identify individuals.

You can refuse this collection by disabling cookies in your browser settings. You can also use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. For details on how Google handles data, see how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Cookie consent

For visitors from countries where prior consent is required, such as Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam, we show a cookie consent notice at the bottom of the screen and do not use Google Analytics or advertising cookies until you agree. Until then, basic measurements that do not use cookies (such as the fact that a page was opened) are still sent to Google, and only non-personalized ads are shown. For visitors from the EU, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the site is shown with cookies turned off.

Your choice is saved in a cookie shared by all nacn.app sites (nacn_consent, kept for about 13 months). You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.

Notice for U.S. residents

The operator does not sell personal information. As described above, Google may use cookies to show personalized ads; you can turn this off using the opt-out options in the Advertising section.

The App is not directed to children under 13, and the operator does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (as defined by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, COPPA).

Disclaimer

The App is a work of fiction, and the teachers, school, and classes in it are not real. It does not encourage eating during class. The operator is not responsible for any damages arising from use of the App.
